AP Inter 2025 Passing Criteria

The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education has disclosed their minimum requirements for passing the exam. For candidates to be successful in 1st and 2nd year Inter exam, we have shared the details about it below:

  • A candidate must score at least 35% separately in theory and practical examinations.
  • For the practical paper of 30 marks, candidates must score 10.5 marks out of 30 to get passed.
  • For theory papers with a weightage of 100 marks, candidates must score at least 35 marks for passing.
  • In the case of a theoretical paper of 70 marks designed by the authority, one must score 25 to qualify for the exam.
  • It is mandatory for candidates to get passing marks in both theory & practical exams.
  • If an individual cannot score the minimum marks in any of the examinations, they will be declared failed in the exam.

AP Inter Results 2025 Grading System

The AP Inter Results will be graded between A1 and E based on the student’s overall percentages in the exam. As given below, candidates can check the grade & grade points for a score between 200 and 600:

  • A1 Grade – It is given to the candidates who have scored marks between 550 and 600 with a grade of 10.
  • A2 Grade – Candidates who score between 500 and 549 with a grade point of 9 will get an A2.
  • B1 Grade – Students who have scored marks between 450 and 499 will receive an 8 grade point.
  • B2 Grade – A B2 grade is given to candidates with marks between 400 and 449 and a grade point of 7.
  • C1 Grade – Students who have scored marks between 350 and 399 with a grade point of 6 will receive a C1 grade in the examination.
  • C2 Grade – Candidates who have scored marks between 300 and 349 will receive C2 as a grade with 5 grade points.
  • D Grade – Candidates who perform between 200 and 299 with a grade of point 4 will receive a D in the exam.
  • E Grade – This is given to candidates who have scored below 200 marks on the exam and do not have any grade points. These students are deemed to fail the examination & and must retake it the following year.
